This substation normally comprises three compartments inside: High voltage compartment (equipped with high/medium voltage switchgear, such as ring main unit, gas insulated switchgear, its rated voltage can reach up to 40.5kv maximum), Low voltage compartment, and Transformer compartment (equipped with three-phase oil-immersed transformer or cast resin dry-type transformer).
