Structural Characteristics
Overall Framework
It is a frame structure, made by welding steel sections. The frame is covered with aluminum alloy plates and coated with a special paint layer, featuring excellent mechanical properties, weather resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Internal Layout
The interior of the box is divided into three independent compartments: the high-voltage room, the transformer room, and the low-voltage room. Each compartment is strictly isolated to ensure safe operation.
Main Components
High-voltage Switchgear
The high-voltage room is equipped with high-voltage ring network switchgear, which can be equipped with pressure-type or vacuum-type load switches, and has the "five prevention" function. The high-voltage connection uses fully sealed cable plugs to achieve full insulation and zero potential, and the exposed electrical parts are heated with plastic tubes.
Transformer
It can be either dry-type or oil-immersed-type. The oil-immersed type can be selected with or without oil reservoir and fully sealed; the dry-type transformer has low loss, low noise, and low partial discharge characteristics.
Low-voltage Distribution Equipment
The low-voltage room has the overall functions of low-voltage complete switchgear, including busbar metering cabinets, main circuit breaker cabinets, low-voltage feeder cabinets, capacitor compensation cabinets, etc. It adopts a plate structure and introduces German Winer technology to achieve a copper bar connection scheme without drilling holes.

Intelligent Monitoring
Some YBM European-style box transformers are equipped with an IoT cloud platform, which can monitor key data such as transformer temperature, load rate, and three-phase imbalance in real time. It supports remote control via mobile APP/PC, automatic fault alarm, and push of maintenance plans.
High Efficiency and Energy Saving
It uses SCB13/14 low-loss dry-type transformers, with a load loss lower than the national standard by 15%. It can also be equipped with a photovoltaic cover to realize a power generation self-supply monitoring system, with an annual carbon reduction of ≥2.6 tons.
